Role

In this role, you will take responsibility overarchingly for projects focused on developing and constructing modules for our DAC systems. While working hand-in-hand with our project manager, you will take the technical lead in multidisciplinary developments including mechanical design, process engineering, electrical, flow, and thermal domains.

As a seasoned System Architect, you enjoy leading a team of multidisciplinary colleagues, including junior members. Your responsibilities is the technical architecture of module design. We are seeking a hands-on and decisive technical leader who can comfortably collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Taking the lead in designing (modules of) Carbyon's DAC systems from a-z.
Making high-level design choices.
Including different disciplines in the design (e.g. air flows, condenser, heating system).
Contributing to pilot projects.
Technically steering a project team of 5-10 colleagues on the technical side.
Keeping deadlines for finished projects and working within a given timeframe.

Our ideal candidate is someone who:

Holds either a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics or a related field.
Preferably has gained at least 10 years of experience in the industry (machine development and process engineering), of which 5 years in system architecture/project management.
Can keep up with multiple projects side-by-side while maintaining a high-level overview of all aspects involved.
Is fluent in English, both spoken and written, to thrive in an international environment.
Thrives in a dynamic and collaborative team environment, demonstrating a proactive and adaptable mindset.
