As our Full Stack Engineer – Team Chat, you will realize seamless customer (digital) journeys in our digital to realize secure, scalable and reliable backend software to facilitate seamless customer journeys that originate from our digital assistant, whether they’re looking for information, changing their personal details, or calling our call centers for help. For realizing and supporting such mission-critical features on the AWS Cloud, you adopt modern software engineering practices not limiting to DevOps, shift-left practices, and test automation.
You will work primarily with React and JavaScript/TypeScript, with a vast amount of exposure to AWS Serverless technologies (e.g. API Gateway, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, EventBridge etc.) and Azure DevOps. Distributed software development using Microservices, Backend-for-frontend, Stateless, API-first, zero trust security are a few patterns / topics that you will hear fellow engineers in your team talking about frequently.

You are responsible for the technical delivery (build and maintain) of end to end customer journeys, and its accompanied integration with external SaaS providers

You are responsible for the running and operating the software you built, which entails resolution of incidents, driving improvements and authoring postmortems in an unambiguous manner

You collaborate, coach, and influence fellow engineers (based on your prior knowledge and experience) towards best practices in software product development, reuse and release lifecycle

You join forces with other engineers across our domain and business unit, in contributing to the collective thinking / resolution of common engineering challenges
