The Opportunity
You will be part of one of the squads of the Technology department. The squad consists of developers, test automation engineers, scrum master and product owner, supported by solution architects, Continuous delivery managers, DevOps engineers. Your excellent communication skills and team oriented attitude will be needed for the frequent calls with teams located in other Worldline offices, Offshore teams, and for collaborating with different partners: at Worldline we all collaborate to deliver the best solutions to our customers. This means everyone from engineering, product, business and operations work closely together every day.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
You are responsible of delivering part of a transformation program by:
- Developing automation pipelines for the quality assurance of delivered changes both front-end developed in Vue.JS as well as the Backend developed in GO.
- Setting up regression test suites to verify continuity of processing of our platform.
- Providing automated evidence of passed tests.
- Making recommendations for improvements.
You are showing an agile mind-set, by:
- Using Scrum to work with your squad including back-office developers, test automation engineers, technical application engineers and a product owner to accomplish the Sprint Goals committed
- Focusing on continuous improvement and short feedback loops.
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- You have at least 1 year of experience in a common development language (Java / Javascript / Python / Go)
- You have at least 5 years of working experience in complex environments in a similar non-technical position, for instance test engineer.
- You show interest to expand your knowledge of the following techniques, initially knowledge in these areas are not mandatory:
- CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins/Gitlab
- Vue.JS, Angular, React, GO / Python (for CICD configurations)
- PostgreSQL / SQL / Oracle
- Docker / Docker Swarm / Kubernetes
- ELK stack / PagerDuty / Promethues / Grafana / Kibana
- You have experience working in a Scrum environment
