RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Accessories Merchandiser will support the operational activities associated with the LGA category across all business channels as well as on Bulgari.com. They will interact with central merchandising, local supply chain/distribution planning, retail stores, visual merchandising, ecommerce as it pertains to coordination of product centered availability, sold orders, sell through of novelties and icons, systematic reporting with qualitative feedback, set up and monitoring of stock availability and initiatives. This role requires a critical view on sales and performance results.
PRODUCT PORTFOLIO & STOCK MANAGEMENT
- Work together with LGA Manager on the communications to all corporate and retail partners to address specific product driven LGA activities such as assortment, discontinuations, pricing requests, new product plans, delays in product deliveries, stock management, sell through monitoring, rebalancing, buying, buybacks, among other projects at the discretion of the LGA manager.
- Monitor stock levels and react quickly to rectify missed opportunities and communicate to supply chain and Omni-channel on any product logistics.
- Monitor stock levels and implement weekly/bi-weekly/monthly rebalancing actions, according to LGA Manager requests, with the objective of ensuring sales results, high sell-through levels and an elevated image in all stores.
- An obsession with identifying sales opportunities through critical thinking and creative thinking, to address the trends and react promptly. Developing a system for fast-track order fulfillment.
- Proactively track and analyze sell-through data, regularly update stakeholders on sell-through rates.
- Partner with B.Com team to ensure product grids encompass overall product strategy for region, as well as monitor and report on any foreseen depth issues which could hinder overall product availability (TSL).
- Collect key information, research and customer feedback as it pertains to the current assortment future development and expansions (I.E. competition benchmarking) and report to management on findings.
- Partner and support regional Visual Merchandising teams with in-field execution and provide necessary product for a strong brand presence in stores.
COMMUNICATION AND REPORTING
- As it relates to the stores assortments, this role will analyze, allocate and rebalance merchandise according to historic sales, market needs, marketing initiatives on a regular basis, more specifically each morning to prepare for the day.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting as requested by the LGA Manager, VP Merchandising or Country Manager reliant on reactivity to the business trends
- Inform any modifications made to product assortment with commercial teams as it impacts their business
- Monitor sales performance by various KPIs, not limited to skus, store clusters, rankings, aesthetic lines, product typologies and materials, as well as monitor performance vs. forecast
- Provide data and valuable insights to help attain or surpass company’s targets or share any obstacles in the way of reaching targets
- Communicate with retail, customer service, wholesale, ecommerce, and other commercial teams, by answering emails as it pertains to product knowledge and product assortment
- In collaboration with merchandising analyst, co-author dashboards and reports for the category to automate data management, analysis. As well as report to analyst, any changes in product classifications.
- Partner with CRM and Ecommerce team to share relevant information and contents, prior to each collection launch, with the objective of aligning O2O & O2M CRM activities to the timing of each collection launch. Cooperate with them to monitor the performance of these activities to reactively adjust based on business needs & performance.
RETAIL
- Support the retail organization with in-store selling, in particular by promptly answering and facilitating store requests/transfers/AFSS and providing support to drive sales, including participation to events or trainings when requested.
BUSINESS SUPPORT
- Support the LGA Manager in the preparation of strategic or training presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field 5-7 years’ experience minimum in similar roles
- Demonstrated understanding of high end retail
- Strong analytical and retail math skills
- Expertise in Excel & IT Applications (SAP, BW, Power BI)
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills
- Effective at time management and organizational skills
- Must be detailed oriented, organized and flexible
